Contributions should include study results that provide new evidence regarding H C I research or applications. In the Research Track, papers must present original results with appropriate validation, consistent with the research method employed.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8d46c1a elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"8d46c1a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Review Responsibility\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b604038 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b604038\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In line with the scientific community&#8217;s sustainability policy described in the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ihc.sbc.org.br\/2026\/index.php\/en\/full-papers\/\"><b>FULL PAPERS GENERAL CALL<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the authorship of works submitted to the Research Track must actively contribute to the peer-review process.<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Review Slots:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> At the time of submission, four (4) review responsibility slots must be designated, each assigned to a member of the paper&#8217;s authorship.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Nomination Restrictions:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Only those listed as authors of the work may occupy these slots; nominating third parties external to the submission is not permitted.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>JEMS Preparation:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Designated individuals must keep their <\/span><b>JEMS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> profiles up to date and participate in the <\/span><b>bidding<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> phase (expression of interest) to ensure that review assignments are compatible with their expertise.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Commitment to Delivery:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Once a review is assigned, declining the invitation is not permitted. All other papers will be reviewed by at least three members of the program committee. Papers submitted to this track must necessarily advance the state of knowledge\/art. Contributions must be explicit in the text.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Quality of textual presentation:<\/strong> Is the paper well written and adequately presented in terms of language, content, and form, following the event template?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Characterization of the context:<\/strong> Is the study\u2019s context clearly defined, demonstrating its relevance in time and in relation to existing literature? Is the research problem clearly addressed and well justified?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>References to related works:<\/strong> Are relevant references cited to highlight the value of similar research? Is there a discussion on the similarities and differences between related research and the study being presented?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Theoretical-methodological basis:<\/strong> Do the research and contributions reported have an adequate and solid theoretical-methodological basis? Are the methodology and its steps well described? Does the text provide enough detail to allow other researchers to replicate the methodology?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Reflections on the research:<\/strong> Are the discussions aligned with the theoretical and methodological approach presented? Are they significant enough to provoke revisions\/evolution of local practices and\/or within the H C I community?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Quality of the presentation of the research results:<\/strong> are the results well described, and is it possible to reproduce the research? Are the research findings and results consistent with the theoretical and methodological framework? Are the parties involved presented (anonymized)? Are the materials and methods adequately characterized so that other people or groups can re-signify them?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>If the work is a literature review:<\/strong> does the text explicitly state the type of systematic technique used? Does the text describe the research protocol in sufficient detail so that other researchers can reinterpret it? Does the text describe the resources and tools used in the steps? Is the number of people (judges) who participated in the selection stages of the literature studies explicit? Do the results presented contribute to the H C I community and to the state of the art?
