In line with this premise, submissions in the form of essays or position papers are also encouraged, especially those that offer critical reflections and philosophical, provocative, or speculative discussions relevant to the Brazilian H C I community. Submissions may employ a variety of approaches, drawing not only on empirical results but also on theoretical arguments, philosophical analyses, interdisciplinary perspectives, and other methods that challenge established paradigms. If your research proposes new directions, questions assumptions, or experiments with innovative ideas, this is the right space to share it.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Important: Please note that <\/span><b>this is not a track for short papers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, but rather a venue for presenting and sharing critical discussions, emerging and potentially innovative research, or disruptive techniques and perspectives that challenge the status quo in H C I and may expand the boundaries of the field. If your research is still in its early stages and lacks results that enable in-depth discussion, the correct track for your submission is the Posters and Demonstrations track.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b4a4a6b elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"b4a4a6b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">This Track Review Process<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1cd2d3d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1cd2d3d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Submissions will be rejected without review (desk reject) if (1) they do not comply with all submission instructions provided here and at the <a href=\"https:\/\/ihc.sbc.org.br\/2025\/index.php\/en\/full-paper-tracks\/\"><strong>GENERAL CALL FULL PAPERS<\/strong><\/a>, (2) they are outside the scope of the Innovative Ideas and Emerging Results Track, or (3) they have been submitted or published in any other forum (conference or journal). All other papers will be reviewed by at least three members of the program committee. If the submission is accepted, the authors should consider the comments from the reviewers to prepare the final version of the paper.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Review the following checklist. Reviewers should evaluate each paper according to these criteria:<\/span><\/p><p><b>Adherence to the track<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: does the paper adhere to the Innovative Ideas and Emerging Results Track?\u00a0<\/span><\/p><ul><li><b>Does the paper share innovative ideas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">? The aim is to increase understanding and awareness of the innovative idea being discussed. This idea may help expand and define relevant topics related to problems investigated in H C I.<\/span><\/li><li><b>Does the paper present and discuss emerging results<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">? In line with this premise, submissions in the form of essays or position papers are also encouraged, especially those that offer critical reflections and philosophical, provocative, or speculative discussions relevant to the Brazilian H C I community. Submissions may employ a variety of approaches, drawing not only on empirical results but also on theoretical arguments, philosophical analyses, interdisciplinary perspectives, and other methods that challenge established paradigms. If your research proposes new directions, questions assumptions, or experiments with innovative ideas, this is the right space to share it. Important: Please note that this is not a track for short papers, but rather a venue for presenting and sharing critical discussions, emerging and potentially innovative research, or disruptive techniques and perspectives that challenge the status quo in H C I and may expand the boundaries of the field. If your research is still in its early stages and lacks results that enable in-depth discussion, the correct track for your submission is the Posters and Demonstrations track. This Track Review Process Submissions will be rejected without review (desk reject) if (1) they do not comply with all submission instructions provided here and at the GENERAL CALL FULL PAPERS, (2) they are outside the scope of the Innovative Ideas and Emerging Results Track, or (3) they have been submitted or published in any other forum (conference or journal). All other papers will be reviewed by at least three members of the program committee. If the submission is accepted, the authors should consider the comments from the reviewers to prepare the final version of the paper. Review the following checklist. Reviewers should evaluate each paper according to these criteria: Adherence to the track: does the paper adhere to the Innovative Ideas and Emerging Results Track?\u00a0 Does the paper share innovative ideas? The aim is to increase understanding and awareness of the innovative idea being discussed. This idea may help expand and define relevant topics related to problems investigated in H C I. Does the paper present and discuss emerging results? Emerging results are characterized as partial and\/or preliminary findings that represent a stage in a research process that is still ongoing, already allowing for critical reflection and discussion with the community. Does the paper critically discuss a topic relevant to the community? This involves a well-supported argument and defense of a position on a topic that is relevant to the Brazilian H C I community. Quality of textual presentation: is the paper well written and adequately presented in terms of language, content and form, following the event model?
