The Brazilian Symposium on Human Factors in Computing Systems (IHC) is the main scientific forum in the area of ​​Human-Computer Interaction in Brazil. The event annually brings together researchers, teachers, students, and professionals in the field in a welcoming atmosphere and for many exchanges of experiences and learning.

With a quality technical-scientific program, IHC 2025 will feature the presentation of academic works in the three main Tracks: Research Track, Innovative Ideas and Emerging Results Track, and Experience Reports Track. In addition to Posters and Demos, and also the renowned Júnia Coutinho Anacleto Award.

IHC and INTERACT 2025

In 2025, IHC will take place with the INTERACT 2025 (20th IFIP TC13 International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction), an international event that attracts researchers from different parts of the world. It is an opportunity to share knowledge with the local and international HCI community.

The 24th edition of IHC will take place on the campus of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), in Belo Horizonte, between September 8th and 10th, 2025. We are waiting for you!

About SBC

The Brazilian Computer Society – SBC is a non-profit Scientific Society, founded in July 1978, which brings together students, professors, professionals, researchers and enthusiasts in the area of ​​Computing and Informatics from all over Brazil.

SBC’s role is to foster access to information and culture through computing, promote digital inclusion, encourage research and teaching in computing in Brazil, contributing to the training of computing professionals with social responsibility.

For the organization and dissemination of scientific, technical, educational and political activities, actions and events, SBC maintains a structure of three types of Thematic Groups (GT), which are the Great Areas (GA), the Special Commissions (EC) and Interest Groups (IG). These groups bring together associates with common interests in a subfield of computing.

The SBC’s Special Commissions (EC) represents a group of SBC members who share interests and values ​​in a certain area of ​​Computing.
