In 2020, it had an H5 of 11 and is improving. It is an event classified by CAPES with stratum A3 in the 2017-2020 four-year period.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We invite teachers, extensionists and industry professionals (public or private sector) who work in the area to submit complete articles to the Experience Reports Track. It is expected that the articles in this track carefully describe experiences focused on the area of HCI, be it, for example, in the field of HCI teaching, in the evaluation of experiences of\/by users, in the adoption of HCI concepts and methods in university extension actions, as well as experiences in industry (public or private) with theoretical and methodological foundations in the area.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In their experience report, the authors must characterize the context, the parties involved and the relevance of the reported experience; they must also be attentive to the quality of the methodological presentation for appropriation by other people; in addition to providing opportunities for meaningful reflections on this experience based on adequate theoretical-methodological foundations. All other work will be reviewed by at least three program committee members. If the submission is accepted, authors must consider review comments to prepare the final version of the article.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In quantitative terms, reviewers must evaluate each article according to the following criteria:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adherence to the track. Does the article adhere to the IHC 2024 Experience Reports track?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Contribution to the community. Are the discussions and contributions presented meaningful to the HCI community and practitioners in the field? Articles submitted to this track do not necessarily need to advance the state of knowledge\/art.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quality of textual presentation. Is the article well written and adequately presented in terms of language, content and form, following the event standard?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Characterization of the context. Is the context well characterized, placing the experience in time and space? Is the presentation of the report well justified?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reference to related works. Are references presented that value other experiences? Attention: articles submitted to this track do not necessarily need to advance the state of knowledge\/art.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Theoretical-methodological foundation. Does the reported experience have an adequate and solid theoretical-methodological basis?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quality of experience presentation. Is the reported experience aligned with the theoretical-methodological foundation? Are the parties involved introduced? Are the materials and methods characterized adequately, so that other people or groups can reframe them?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reflections on the experience. Are the discussions consistent with the theoretical-methodological foundation presented? Are they significant enough to provoke revisions\/evolution of local practices and\/or within the HCI community?<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to these criteria, the correct use of the formatting and reference model adopted by the event will also be verified, as well as compliance with ethical aspects.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although it will not interfere in the final evaluation of the article, reviewers will also be invited to check the existence of references to IHC or to Journal on Interactive Systems (JIS) publications, in addition to adopting references to relevant works by women, researchers from developing countries (for example, those ones from the Brazilian Computing Society) and underrepresented groups.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e43980d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"e43980d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Ethical Aspects\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-db55114 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"db55114\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Authors must follow recommendations on <a href=\"https:\/\/ihc.sbc.org.br\/2024\/en\/instructions-on-ethical-aspects-in-research\/\">ethical aspects in research involving human beings<\/a>.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cases of experience reports that are exempt from analysis by a research ethics committee must contain details about the case of exemption and ethical precautions taken, such as those adhering to item VII of art. 26 of CNS n\u00ba 674\/2022 &#8211;
