Registration

IHC 2021 is held by the Brazilian Computer Society – SBC. SBC is a non-profit civil association that encourages technological and scientific development in Brazil and is the largest computing society in South America.

The values for registration in IHC 2021 can be seen in the table below. There are 5 (five) categories available for registration. Membership categories are only available to participants who correctly enter their SBC membership number and are current with the annuity. SBC offers promotional fees to non-members who wish to include in the annual membership. Check out the benefits of being a member of SBC.

Checking the Chosen Category: At the time of registration in the ECOS system, for the categories that need some type of proof, it will be required the upload that certifies the chosen category. Verification of this document may take up to 1 business day. Therefore, we suggest that, to avoid any inconvenience, don’t leave it until the last day of the registration period. Only after validation by the SBC team, payment methods will be released. Applicants will receive informative emails at all stages of the evolution of their registration for the IHC 2021.

Registration for authors: For each accepted paper in any of the IHC 2021 tracks:

  • It is necessary that at least one author registers, until September 10th, 2021;
  • Specifically, if the paper is accepted for the track “Research” or “Insightful Ideas and Emerging Results in HCI”, when there is not a paid registration in the “Professional” category, at least 1 (one) author must pay the additional publication fee on top of his/her current registration also by September 10th, 2021

Extra Publication: authors with more than one on the “Full Papers” and “Insightful Ideas and Emerging Results in HCI” tracks must pay the publication fee for the ACM proceedings, for each additional paper, until Sep 10, 2021.

Payment Methods: The payment can be made through a credit card or direct debit to Banco do Brasil through the registration system. Registrations are allowed until the last day of the event, but direct debits are available until Oct 9th, 2021. After that, only credit card, commitment note and billing payments are possible.
